Sometimes the most unexpected roles feel lonely.
Sometimes people in high profile positions don’t have anywhere to turn to, although you expect they are surrounded by people. Loneliness is very individual and there are many causes that no one wants to talk about.
Making a stand from the crowd can make you lonely, missing the kindness of another human being can make you feel lonely, you might have lost someone or something that makes you lonely, the overwhelm and pressure of too much to do can make us feel lonely, a lack of connection or any situation in your life where you become disconnected can cause isolation and having high levels of responsibility and senior leadership roles can be so lonely
Loneliness is individual and very personal to us all
