When push comes to shove and the pressure is on, I’m a perfectionist and control freak so going with the flow can be tough. When I can’t achieve what I’ve set out to achieve my brain doesn’t like it and I grab for more control.
Living in chaos and uncertainty means that going with the flow is even more important now than ever before and however hard it is, letting go of the rules and going with the flow is probably to best option to take.
Although we know routine and structure are essential, too much tightness around rules and routine might just be too much.
The more we go with the flow, the more we can relax and the more we can all be in harmony, with our kids, our work pals and in our relationships.
Putting structure in place AND holding it lightly might just be what helps us relax in the chaos and at the very least enjoy the ride as we hang on for dear life!!!
