Jenny Rossiter – Social Isolation | A Survival Guide
The achievement of doing and achieving occupies a lot of our time and space, there is so much to do that it is never done.
We get a hit of dopamine when we get things done, achieve a goal and accomplish something so without this hit it’s so difficult to stop!
We become addicted to the feel-good factor of achieving, particularly when we have high achievement orientation like many high achieving leaders like me.
– Achievement Orientation is the number 1 competency of many high performing leaders and essential for success.
So, if you’re anything like me and would rather die than give up trying, then maybe all we need is to re-invest some ‘task time’ to some ‘loving time’ and get some hit from that!
