Jenny Rossiter – Social Isolation | A Survival Guide
Self-esteem is an individual’s subjective evaluation of their own worth and is the beliefs about ourselves and the emotions we experience around this. e.g. I am smart, I am worthy OR I am not clever enough, I am not good enough.
We are all on the journey of building higher self-esteem and it’s a rocky road with lots of knocks.
As we travel on the path of knowing and loving ourselves more here are a few tips to help you along the way:
- Keep in good energy – Don’t tolerate negative vibes (from yourself or others)
- Stop hanging around with people that make you feel ‘less than’ you really are – People that are critical and let you down
- Create a halo effect – Focus on your gifts and strengths NOT your weaknesses – superpowers rule
