Being in fight and flight for too long produces high levels of cortisol and adrenaline which can leave us depleted emotionally, physically and mentally.
It is important to notice the signs and symptoms of chronic stress. When you’ve been in it too long and reach the danger zone, know to reach out for support.
Spot it – talk about it – admit it – reach out for help.
When we trigger the 4 happy hormones and the parasympathetic nervous system we become at ease, when we are at ease we become socially engaged again, problem solve, get curious and creative.
How can we help each other? – Keep noticing and keep spotting the signs and symptoms in ourselves and each other.
