How do you achieve the role of senior VP in Pharma as a woman?
During the interview Sarah gave an honest & inspiring account of the challenges she’s overcome, the leader she’s become and some excellent advice to help us all step into who we aspire to be. During your career, we all have times when we encounter a bad boss.
Here are some tips to spot it and deal with it:
– If you find yourself in a place where things are not positive there is always a time to start something new – sometimes you need to draw a line and redesign the new you.
– If you are not under good leadership and you have questioned yourself more than you have been coached – or torn down more than built up, you need to spot these as warning signs and perhaps step into a more positive place where you feel more appreciated and acknowledged.
– But a word of caution to this……..always look at yourself in the mirror and if you have some destructive behaviors then you need to look at these and make some changes.
– We have to surround ourselves with people and leaders that are good for us AND we have to take personal accountability for what we do too.
