Loneliness is a daily struggle for many of us with almost half of the UK adults say that their busy lives stop them connecting with other people. A study by The Co-op and the British Red Cross reveals over 9 million people in the UK across all adult ages – more than the population of London – are either always or often lonely.
Loneliness has massive health risks and loneliness, living alone and poor social connections are as bad for your health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day (holt-Lunstad, 2010)

Within this video series on overcoming loneliness you will understand the truth about loneliness, how you are not alone in this experience and how by taking some simple easy steps you can reconnect with yourself, your work and the people around you.
