Technique 5 – overcome addiction to the task
The achievement of doing things and achieving occupies a lot of our time and space. There is so much task to do and achieve that it is never done.
We get a hit of dopamine when we get things done, achieve a goal and accomplish something. There is so much to do we can become an addicted to the feel-good factor of achieving
We live in a time where we can’t relax or be at ease. We have to notice there is a pull to achieve and when you know you are motivated to complete tasks and it is becoming unhealthy and damaging relationships you might need to reduce or loosen the task and expectation of yourself
- Could you re-invest some task time to relationship time?
