Reflect upon an act or intent that might be contributing to others lonelines.
The act of exclusion or rejection can trigger loneliness or isolation and the antidote to this is inclusion
It’s a natural movement to form groups within groups as it makes us feel safe and we belong in small packs. As we do this it can mean we exclude other people.
Pairing also makes us feel safe and connected and helps us feel in the inner circle. Although this is a natural act, this can have an impact on others that are left out.
Reflect on your behaviour and think of someone that you could include, reach out to or an act of kindness to welcome them in.
- Consider who might be in need of welcoming in or including?
